Blood Spattered Comfort Food

I am getting lots of cleaning done. Eric is chipping ice canals outside for the oceans of melting snow to find egress to the drains. Mim is killing orcs.

Note: I HAVE WASHED THE DISHES! soon, I shall brave the basement and wash my laundry as I move my closet storage crap to the attic storage crap. there shall be a Storage Crap Wedding.

I'm moving up in the world.

Aleister is sad that I am not snuggling with him today. he keeps following me around and lying down on my feet while I'm cleaning until I accidentally splash him with water from the dishes. Poor kitten.

Right now he is curled up around my knees while I type. In a minute when I put this away, he's going to complain piteously as I stand up and then continue to follow me around the house.

I thought about taking a meta picture and posting a picture of suibhne_geilt taking a picture, and then posting about his posting about taking pictures, but it hurt my hea dto think about it. So, I'm gonna go back to my scrubbing and launderizing instead.

Good Things:

1. I am .7 pounds away from having lost 10% of my starting weight. ^_^ According to WW, this is where the health benefits kick in. I see it as whoot-my-pants-fit-yay. yus. now I have 60# to go. :P and stuff.

2. Yesterday me and strangemodegirl went to the new Lush store outside Milwaukee. And I have yummie lotion now and my skin is happy. yus. ^_^ (now if I can only find a cure for my winter cough I'll be a happy camper!)

3. Also, me and amy are going to walk to Walgreens in a minute. It is lovely (although cold) out and will be a nice walk.

4. Today is Co-op day! I get to ride my bike to the coop and get me some fresh veggies an a couple groceries. Yus. and Fruit! I need Fruit! especially melon. mmmm... canteloupe...

5. Samhain at Circle was lovely and I made lots of food for people. coyote_eyes did a lovely coordinating job, and mimory and paradox_ninja were fabulous kitchen assistants! And Eric carved my beef! yus. And!!!!! I would not have been able to get everything together with out the awesome shopping help of strangemodegirl. She is my sanity. Fear her Elite Jane-Wrangling Skills. yus.

6. My hair is nice and warm when I wear it down. mmmmm... and I have a big sweater and a fuzzy black muppetfur coat. wheee!

7. I have Granola that I made with my own hands and it has real maple syrup and pumpkin seeds in it. rawr. and soymilk. and melon in yogurt. and pomegranate green tea.

8. I am wearing Samhain '07 today and I smell like mulled cider around a bonfire. it is goodness.

9. I started on a couple small leather books. so far they are fun and working out well. We'll see where I go with them...

10. Mercedes Lackey in audiobook form is awesome braincandy. Also? I have 2 episodes of Heroes saved up to watch while I work on sewing leather on my book today.

Sad Things:

1. I have no extra monies to buy Yule scents. woe. (although I might later this month.) Diwali, Fruit of Paradise and Midwinter's Eve must be mine. yus. and stuff. :P Also? I need a bottle of Lampades and Urd. and Khubla Khan. and ummm... nevermind.

2. And speaking of neeeeeeeeeed, I neeeeeed to make more dolls. My last couple critters are getting lonely.

3. Aleister is a poop. But he is warm so I will allow him to snuggle *everywhere* I am sitting. He is a pathetic catloaf. yus.

4. My arm is peeeeeeling! it itches on the corners! whine! :P but the red and orange make for happy eyes! yus.

5. My studio is a MESS. I want to sew and I have no room to set up my machine. ;___; <== my tears.

6. I should not complain, since I'm not sick anymore and I have stuff to do and people to hang with and I smell like smelling myself all day. But I are cold! brrrrrr...

Also, I decree that Red and Gold and Orange are the new happy eye colors. Beware my new obsession. yus.
