Blood Spattered Comfort Food

I just took a looooooog hot... shower and I feel fabulous! in a sickish kinda way. :P

I'm still tired and my throat still hurts. Just the right side and only when I open my mouth or turn my head a certain way. Or have something press into my neck about two inches down from my ear. Like, where you take your pulse when you're exercising. And in the sameish place under my tongue. It's weird. and exhausting. and dizzying. :(

But! I am ok, I'll see how I feel in the morning. If it's still hurting quite a bit, I'm going to make a doctor's appointment.

In other news, I am *so* looking forward to having my Bessie in running order!! The dude at Revolution said that he'd have her ready by Friday at the latest. (as they have a bunch to work on before that.) whee!! so Monday, the plan is to take the bus (with Bessie in the bike rack) to work and then take my time riding home until I can keep a decent and consistent time. And then I'll ride in and back. (unless it rains. :P)

I think this summer I'm gonna give Bessie the paint touch up I've been wanting to do since I got her. and get a front basket and weave plastic flowers in it. yus. Also? I need a Skirt Guard. Anybody know where I might find something like that which would fit a 1972 Schwin Collegiate?

I think I'm going to try to go to bed now. If I sleep on my left side, maybe it won't hurt as much. :/ bleah.
