Behold!! Apoc '06 has begun!!!! and it is sad that I've been planning my entry for MONTHS. and wondering when the announcement would wend it's way through my flist and and and.. GLEEEEEEEEE!!!

Laying the groundwork:

• In eleven days (due date: February 6 or before), compose fiction, music,or visual art on a post-apocalyptic theme. The majority of pieces tend to be short stories, but we've also seen haiku, photo essays, sketches,free verse, and snark.
• This is no contest. It's target practice. It's a carrot and a stick. It's an excuse and a pleasure.
• You own your story, but with your permission I'll link to it and possibly archive it on my journal or website. Stories can go up on your journal or mine. I'll link to them from here.
