What have y'all been listening to?

Today is one of those "special days." yus.

+ I'm in a surprisingly good mood. I blame tea. mmm...
- I've lost my earbuds again
+ I found my spare pair!
- they are too short to plug into my computer (which is under my desk. :(
+ I have my ipod!
- I left my ipod usb cord at home. :(
- I can't listen to my podcast updates!!
- I can't update my ipod! :( or charge it.
+ ipod is already charged, but... using it doesn't help that.
+ I know where the cord is. (at home on my coffee table.)
+ I'm still in a good mood!
- I have to call the bank and wrangle a returned check this afternoon. :(
+ I've got cash to cover it! (but I have to physically go to the bank for that.)
- I'm apparently very rambley

I am 98.24% done with reader222 and noisechick's dolls! ^__^ this makes me not so blah. yus!

Work is work is work... I think I'll catch up on old PodCastle stopries already on my ipod today. mmmmmm... crunchy.

*does the safety dance*

1. I have not read a book beyond the first two chapters in almost 2.5 years. Except for two Doctor Who EDAs. yus. Even Manga is pretty tl;dr.

2. I have no desire to see the Dark Knight movie. none. bleah.

3. I seriously dislike Joss Whedon's stuff. It's pretty boring. *shrug*

4. I only own 8 dvd's. I've got Netflix but more often than not, I let my disc sit around for a month or so before watching half of it, getting bored and wandering off to do something else before sending it back.

5. My room is filled with roots and woodchips! and a filing cabinet. and Laundry THAT WILL EAT YOUR HEAD. yus.

6. I've never seen Titanic or Firefly. And have no intention to fix that.

7. Video games are boring when I'm the one playing them.

8. The Internets Suck My Mind!! and I am almost ready to have them go the way oof tv.

9. I have not had non-netflix tv in almost 5 years. I haven't had cable in almost 7.

10. I feel pretty loosederish due to all this, but meh. I have no interest in fixing it.

Conclusion? I am a bad geek. and happy that way. :P

Edit: Also? I forgot the Most Terrible Of All.

11. I don't like Dark Chocolate. *blasphemes*

12. I don't watch movies or tv for the plot or the characters. usually I could care less. I watch them for the worldbuilding and special effects. yus. And the Houses, ships and travelling stuff!! :D it makes me happy.

In other news, I love my Bessie!! I now have a delivery basket on her front handlebars and whee!! Now I just have to see if I can get the trailer hooked up, buy some raingear and a repair kit to keep with her and it's all good. ^__^

I'm planning to take the We Are All Mechanics classes in October, too! :D yay!

Also in the works is a Winter Bike. I am optimistic that this winter won't be as bad as the last... D: *crosses fingers*

I are at work. I t was a really easy drive in this morning due to no one really being on the road at 7am. :P I do not anticipate this to be the same going home, though. but since I got here early today, I can leave early today. :P

also, I have cashew curry rice with golden raisins, craisins, and dried pineapple chunks that aren't dry anymore for lunch. and grapes, and crumpets. *slurp*

I'm actually looking forward to doing my laundry tonight. :P I f I can scrape up the change, I'm gonna take everything to the laundromat down the way and do it all in one fell swoop. yus. there will be Glass Nickel and a book involved and possibly icecream.

whee!

this weather sucks. I'm sending it back and I want a refund.

I was gonna stay til 5, but I'm gonna leave here at 4 instead. :( I wish I could leave now. Rush hour people suck worse than the weather. :( :(
