Also, I went to my work party tonight and brought suibhne_geilt as my guest. I had more fun than I expected to. ^_^ and it still wasn't snowing when we left at 9. (It's just barely flurries now and it's almost midnight. I'm really hoping for a good drive in to work in the morning, but I'm not counting on it. HOPE SPRINGS ETERNAL, MAN!)

As usual the food made me sick, but it was nummy! and I had my first actual cup of coffee in almost a year. D: I was really hoping it was the decaf, but I have a feeling that it wasn't. *sigh* especially since I'm still awake and editing pictures. :P

Also we got t-shirts for our holiday gift thing. they're really soft, though. and mine has a tape gun on it. LOL.

Anywhoo, I'm working on a certain little red imp with wings and a black fuzzy body right now. ^_^ And then I need to get me to bed, 'cause yeah. Driving's gonna suck in the morning. bleah.

Happy Thing #7 - Mel gave me a ride home last night and picked me up this morning so I didn't have to drive in the ick! YAY! She rocks like a rockin' thing. ^___^

This is a short post, 'cause I need to get working, but I have tea and a granola bar and all my babies around me here at my desk and lots of layers on so I'm warm. ^____^ (except for Little Seven who is hanging with Nigel today. ^_^)

OOh! and I'm hopefully gonna go see Benjamin Button tonight. ^_^ yay!

Good-ish News and stuff!

1. I've got a studio in the works, and it's not in my apartment! ^__^ whoot!

It's warehouse space, so it needs a lot of work, but that's being taken care of. ^_^ Me and Alyska are sharing (pretty mush splitting it down the middle with some mixed use areas) and things seem to be working out. *crosses fingers*

I'll be happy when the work is all done and we are moved in and working.

In the meantime, my brother is working on fixing it up and I'm helping him in the evenings when I can. ^_^ (I learned how to do drywall mud stuff like things, yesterday! :P)

The big thing left to do will be putting in a drop ceiling which we'll be doing this coming weekend. Right now it'll be just me and Mike, but if anyone wants to stop by for a few hours and help out, I'd be very grateful. ^_^

So yus. It's a bit stressful and a whole lot exciting! I'll have actual space to have the classes I've been talking about for the past 5 years! Armatures! Sewing! Papermaking party! Figuring out book binding! whoot! ^___^ I'm really really looking forward to it!

And? Did I mention it's *not in my apartment*? :D :D I'll actually have a space at home to, like watch a movie or read a book or something. O_O Crazy!

Anywhoo. yay! Many plans are at work, much art stuff shall be posted soon!

And finally, I'm working on a murder of crowthings to help support my part of the renovations. ^_^ (and maybe some equipment. ^_^) I'll have those posted in a few weeks when things settle down a bit more. Whoot!
